Kambaldaite is a rare mineral first discovered in the Kambalda region of Western Australia. As a result of its rarity, there are few known synonyms for this mineral. However, some sources suggest that kambaldaite could be referred to as a nickel arsenide mineral or a member of the barite group. Other closely related minerals include nickeline, nummelite, and safflorite. While not exact synonyms for kambaldaite, they are minerals that share similar properties, such as a metallic luster and a silver-white color. As kambaldaite continues to be studied, additional synonyms may emerge in the future.
